'Cookie Wardrobe Dolls' by Amelie Labarthe

The Outhouse is very excited to present The Cookie Wardrobe Dolls ... and other friendly creatures by Central Saint Martins alumni and one eighth of textile collective Puff & Flock, Amelie Labarthe.

Arriving at The Outhouse fresh from Puff & Flock’s acclaimed show at 100% Design, Amelie will be presenting Cinnamon, Ginger, Caramel, Clementine, and Raspberrilou; collectively known as The Cookie Wardrobe Dolls.

Their true identities a closely guarded secret: they could be secret agents serving the urban rainbow fairy, or simply a colour addicted crew of girly dolls who plan on invading innocent people’s homes in a near future with their natural glow. We do know that they are each very fashion concerned, with strong ethical values: refusing to wear anything other than vintage clothing and are the queens of internet shopping. They believe that affective investment and attachment is the key to a more sustainable world. Loving to be the centre of attention, they made room in Amelie’s bag for a number of shows and destinations, managing to proudly keep their carbon footprint to a zero level. And all of this in the name of fame.
