Play the Building

an installation by musician and artist David Byrne at the Round House in Camden, London finishes this bank holiday weekend so I popped down in my lunch hour to play a tune or two.

In amongst the clanking, vibrating and whistling is an installation that just has an atmosphere around it. Taking the shutters off the dome in the roof has allowed light to flood the otherwise dark concert space giving it an ethereal look, made even the more spooky with flute like chimes and deep vibrations.
