We have some new friends in Taiwan! Another ex student of MA in Textile Futures at St Martins, Eleanor contacted me about her textile lab The D/sign Lounge at a university where she teaches in Taiwan. They are currently engaged in an enormous government sponsored research project,where basically their aim is make 'soft' ie fabrics or others become 'hard'.
